ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

I am a native Oregonian, started hunting and fishing here as soon as I was able to keep both ends of a rifle or rod off the ground. I retired from the carpenters union in ’07 and started my business right away. I worked one summer in Alaska ’08 for a couple of lodges, it was a learning experience for me.

After that summer, I came home and started guiding here full time. Although I was raised fishing for Salmon, Steelhead and Sturgeon, Walleye soon came to be my favorite fish to target. I still guide for all of the latter and have had great success, but Walleye are my favorite and I have honed my skills since 1994 when I caught my first walleye.
